Vidyasagar Primary Teachers’ Training Institute is an unaided co-educational self-financed, non-minority Institute. It is located at a historical place beside Dhaldighi near her twin Kaldighi, 01 Kilometer away from Gangarampur Sub-divisional hospital, 02 Kilometers away from Gangarampur Bus Stand (near Dhaldighi Junior Basic School) and 01 Kilometers away from Gangarampur Railway Station. The campus is on an area of approx 4.38 acres of land with well-designed buildings, roads, electric, water supply, telephone & other facilities.

Vidyasagar Primary Teachers’ Training Institute is a Primary Teachers’ Training Institute recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (Vide order no. ERC/7-106.4.2/2010/3808(1)) and affiliated to the West Bengal Board of Primary Education (Vide order No. 64/BPE/P2010). The Institute organised by Sakaler Sandhane Welfare Society is not only creating awareness among the common masses but also working for the betterment of education, cultural, social and economical development in this district. Presently our aim is to pave a way for the aspirant who dreams to be the makers of the nation. To impart quality education is our promise in the Primary Teachers Training.
